Bio

Yves has no traditional curriculum of offshore racing skipper. Born in Palaiseau in the Paris suburbs, he spent his childhood looking towards the sea. Enthusiast race boats offshore, Yves sails long but wins his land to life by building or preparing boats.

In 2001, he ran his first season on the Mini 6.50 circuit. In 7 years, Yves Le Blevec ran a Figaro Bénéteau season, 3 seasons in Mini 6.50, it became dual co-holder of the Jules Verne Trophy and won the Transat 6.50 Charente Maritime - Bahia! This is what is called a remarkable rise ... Long in the first places of the circuit of the Multi 50, Yves exchange today braquet with a boat of 31 meters which has already proven its capabilities in the colors of Sodebo. Forced to retire on the last Transat Jacques Vabre, Yves comes back even more motivated for this race alone. It is also the first to have completed its qualifying course.
