At 11:59:23 local time, Olmix skipper Pierre Antoine crossed The Transat bakerly finish line at Sandy Hook, Manhattan to complete the Multi50 podium. Antoine finishes in third behind winner Gilles Lamiré (French Tech Rennes St Malo) and Lalou Roucayrol (Arkema).

Completing the solo transatlantic race in a time of 16 days, 14 hours, 29 minutes and 23 seconds, Antoine covered a total 3721 miles of the Atlantic ocean at an average speed of 9.34 knots.

Despite reporting damage to his dagger board, on the penultimate night of racing Antoine made an impressive break away from his duelling partner Erik Nigon (Vers un Monde Sans Sida), sailing straight through the centre of a depression and accelerating away on the home straight.

Arriving beneath the iconic New York City skyline in the early hours of Thursday morning, Antoine finishes the race four days, seven hours, nine minutes and six seconds behind Multi 50 winner Lamiré.
