Since 2005 Erik Nigon demonstrates the possibility of exercising a senior position in a large corporation and fight with the professionals racing in major competitions. After 3 seasons in the Figaro, one Solitaire du Figaro and two Transat AG2R La Mondiale (10th in 2008), he moved to 10th Class40 and finished the Solidaire du Chocolat 2009 before switching to the oceanic multihull and finish 5th playing podium until the eve of the arrival in the Route du Rhum.

Ambitious he built his career on his experience in dinghy (first world championship in 1992) who was vice champion of France Olympic Sailing and Sports in 2004.

Who wanted to combine sporting competition and fight against AIDS, Erik Nigon turned to AIDES. Decorated in the colors of red tape, the trimaran, whose godmother is the great sailor Samantha Davies, wears red ribbon on their hulls and sails. A sign of solidarity with people affected by AIDS and a desire to convey a message of prevention to promote action in favor of AIDS and the fight against AIDS.
